4 month check-up

Allison went to the doctor for her 4 month well check up today. She got one shot and one oral vaccine. We go back in two weeks to give her the other shot. She did ok, she cried right away, then whined all the way to the car. She slept half of the way home and screamed the rest. Good thing it's only a 5 min drive. She was fussy the rest of the night but she still managed to be in bed by 9. Hopefully she will be ok and sleep through the night.

Weight 13lbs 6oz which is 50 percentile

(she hasn't yet doubled her birth weight of 7 lbs 5 oz)

Height 26 1/6 in which is officially "greater than 97 percentile"

She is off the chart!

Head size 40 which is 50 percentile

She sleeps from 8 or 9pm to around 5 or 6am

She takes two long naps or three shorter ones,

usually 9am-noon and then 2pm-5pm

sometimes she will get in two shorter morning naps

She is size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothes

She is a happy baby unless it it tummy time,

although she is getting more tolerant.

She is getting to be a lot of fun, she smiles a lot and loves to talk (its really more like yelling.)

We haven't started any solid food yet. We are waiting until 6 months, or until she doesn't seem satisfied with just milk, which ever comes first. I look forward to starting food, it will be fun, it's all happening so fast!
