There was a big swell a few weeks ago that brought some 10 ft waves to the beach we usually go to. Allison and I took a walk to check them out. Since the break is kind of far away these pictures don't do the size of the waves justice.
This is what the waves normally look like, the big ones were double this size or more! It was really impressive in person.
You know it's big when the professionals bring the big cameras. I asked Allison where are the waves?
The waves were coming over the sea wall into the lagoon we like to swim in. Also, notice the side walk and grassy area are wet. That's how you know where NOT to stand :) Word to the wise!
Gotta love the double rainbow!!! It was a beautiful morning.
